Experience in reading and interpreting plans, analyzing plans, specification plans, and provide material take-offs preferred. Professional level of Microsoft Excel and PDF etc. Tertiary degree in Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Liaising with main contractors and suppliers Assisting Construction Managers or Site Managers in planning and organisation Inspecting and collecting information from sites Interpreting plans, specifications, regulations and codes of practice Acquiring prices for new products, preparing estimates/cost plans on projects from the tender preparation to the construction period Identifying changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring variations to designs Preparing, editing and revising markup plans and instructions for the construction team Reviewing contract agreements and assist in risk analysis Assist in the general administration of the estimating team.
