IT Business Development Manager - ANZ

We are seeking a goal and results orientated BDM who takes the time to understand the needs of the client and evaluates which of our solution offerings would best suit their circumstances and manage the entire sales process from quote through to delivery. Our client’s range in size from small privately-owned firms to ASX listed television networks, Telcos and government departments. Reporting directly to the Group Sales & Marketing Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to develop relationships, converting leads into orders and contracts and ultimately growing our client base and revenues across Australia and New Zealand QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE Experienced sales manager with minimum of 5 years’ experience with a proven track record in sales and delivery of IT professional services in ANZ Market Exposure and understanding of B2B solution selling; An understanding of the business regulatory environment; Challenger-oriented sales approach preferred.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS Target driven and confident; Personable and positive; Team oriented with ability to work in fast growth environment; Must have initiative, judgement and a hunger to win new business; Excellent verbal communication skill especially in telephone manner, conduct of meetings and ongoing negotiations; Professionally presented and excellent presentation skills; Excellent written skills to assist in the preparation of proposals, reports and communications with prospective clients; High levels of organisational skills to ensure leads are followed up in a timely and appropriate manner; Ability to learn quickly about solution development issues and relevant factors affecting the customers industry Clear focus on delivering outcomes and a constant focus on innovative ways to improve the way we deliver our services; Must have initiative, take ownership of tasks and enjoy client contact; Ability to conduct presentations and training sessions as required;.
