Team Leader, Biodiversity 2037 Engagement and CommunicationsDepartment of Environment, Land, Water and Planning
This position plays a key role in the implementation of Biodiversity 2037. It supports the strategic engagement required to build understanding and ownership of Biodiversity 2037 implementation amongst stakeholders and contributes to the strategic communications needed to support Biodiversity 2037 implementation. The position will suit a person with engagement and communications experience, and excellent interpersonal skills, keen to apply their leadership qualities and conceptual abilities to tackle complex problems in a diverse stakeholder landscape.
Key tasks will include planning and delivery of stakeholder engagement and supporting communications and leading a small team of engagement and communications staff to create impact and implement change. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver effective public engagement processes across multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver communications or campaign material that demonstrates impact relevant to different audiences.
Working knowledge of science communication, biodiversity management and relevant stakeholders in the Australian context highly desirable.
