Hays Australia REM Exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Manager to join the team of an Engineering business Your new company Hays Hobart are proud to be partnering with a well-established engineering consultancy business who have been in the industry for over 20 years in their search for an Administration Manager. Due to their innovative nature, passion for providing outstanding customer service and tailored solutions for their clients they have grown from a small family business into a leader in building and construction engineering in Tasmania. Due to an upcoming maternity leave they have a need for an experienced Administration Manager to join their team on a full-time basis for 6-12 months.
Your new role As the Administrator Manager your core responsibility will be to manage, support and develop the frontline administration staff. Your other responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Providing assistance to the CEO in the improvement of the business in areas such as operations, human resources, marketing and communications, finance and accounts and quality assurance. Updating and formatting internal documents, policies and procedures.
Assisting with accounts receivable and debt recovery when required. Collate and review both tender and proposal documentation. Ensure the business complies with relevant government legislation and WHS regulations.
Identify and evaluate inefficiencies within the day to day operations of the business and provide recommendations for improvement. What you'll need to succeed As the successful candidate, you’ll have demonstrated experience in Administration Management or similar role, excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal), and a proven track record in implementing change within day to day administration functions. Previous experience in Human Resources is highly desirable.
You’ll also have the following; Certificate IV level qualification in Business or Administration. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MYOB and Adobe InDesign. Proactive nature, with high level of initiative and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to change and prioritise competing demands. Have an analytical mindset and enjoy problem solving. Be passionate about developing others and delivering organisational change.
