Team Manager - Full Time - Ingleburn - NSW

About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring and engaging leader to join this iconic global brand as a Team Manager. Reporting to the Shift and Operations Manager, you will have an inclusive and approachable leadership style that provides direction and encourages growth and innovation from the team you lead. Responsible for driving distribution and services outcomes, you must be able to develop and lead a high performing, well connected and highly productive team to deliver business outcomes.

The ability to think laterally, apply innovation and seek new initiatives to further improve operations, streamline process and save costs will position you as a thought leader within the organisation. Key Responsibilities; Oversee the allocation of tasks to Team Members and ensure that all operational functional tasks are completed to the standard required by GPC Asia Pacific.

To abide by and ensure team members abide by the GPC Asia Pacific policies. Identify operational inefficiencies or potential problems, develop and implement strategies for the resolution of problems whilst maintaining effective performance and productivity. Resource allocation, labour and equipment is effectively and efficiently utilised to meet budget.

Deliver Customer Service and agreed KPI standards. Ensuring the safety management system is applied to address the OH&S needs of all team members, contractors, visitors and plant. Deliver culture development program through Reach and GPC Asia Pacific Values.

Requirement to work in all areas of the DC including internal and external. People Management/leadership responsibilities. To be successful in this role you will have: Proven work experience as a Team Manager or Supervisor In-depth knowledge of performance metrics Good PC skills, especially Excel Excellent communication and leadership skills Organizational and time-management skills Decision-making skills Degree/Cert 4 in Management or Logistics/Warehousing is a plus Adaptability and flexibility Strong knowledge of safe work practices Looking after you: We are committed to ensuring our people are well looked after.
