Childcare Educators (Childcare Workers)
The YMCA of the Northern Territory is a highly regarded childcare provider in the Northern Territory with Centres in Darwin, Katherine, and Alice Springs. We provide high-quality early education that promotes and develops self-confidence, creativity, and individuality while celebrating cultural diversity. We have a number of exciting career opportunities (full-time, part-time and casual) at our Rosebery Child Care centre for Certificate III and Diploma qualified Educators (Childcare Workers) as well as qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
Children Services Award 2020 – Starting Level 3.1 $45,635 pa. (Certificate III) to 3.
4 $51,385 pa. (Diploma) & 6A.1 $64,818 pa.
(Early Childhood Teacher) 9.5% Super. We are looking for passionate and inspired Educators (Childcare Workers) with experience in the early years' sector that possess the following attributes and abilities; Be passionate and motivated to deliver high-quality educational programs and learning environments.
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour. Provide a dynamic, supportive, caring, and safe environment for all children, staff, and caregivers. An adaptable leadership style with the ability to guide, support, and mentor team members.
A commitment to ongoing professional growth as an individual and as a team. A positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude. The YMCA of the Northern Territory has partnered with Karen Sheldon Training and can offer Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care with both qualifications fully funded for eligible candidates through GTNT Group.

YMCA requires that all applicants undergo satisfactory screening before commencement, including but not limited to: A national criminal history check. Any successfully appointed applicant will be required to adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Young People framework, which includes a thorough safeguarding children and young people induction and a commitment to upholding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people throughout their engagement with the YMCA.
