About This Opportunity Our Assistant Banquets Manager takes a leadership role in our award-winning venue, with a focus on the efficient management of the banquets department, which includes Banquets Operations, Staffing, Stock Control and Ordering, and Finance.
Reporting to the Banquets Manager, our Assistant Banquets Manager will ensure excellent service is delivered to our guests and maintains our reputation as Brisbane's premier venue. This position is based at Customs House, 399 Queen St., Brisbane.
Our Ideal Candidate You'll have experience in a similar role, coupled with a current RSA and First Aid Certificate. You'll be able to demonstrate knowledge of seamless banquet operations, including leading teams, problem solving, WHS, operating POS systems, and basic abilities in working with audio visual equipment. You'll be highly organised, collaborative, and committed to exemplary customer service.

What We Can Offer? This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 14 months at F&B Grade 6. The full-time equivalent base salary will be $62,308.65 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
The total FTE package will be $72,901.12 per annum. You will be able to take advantage of UQ Sport Facilities , recreation leave loading (of 17.
