We are an ingredient supplier and native food consultant to food and beverage manufacturers and food service and an intermediary between remote Indigenous communities and local growers and multinational food and beverage manufacturers who require a high quality, shelf stable product and guaranteed supply.
We are actively seeking applications for a Finance Manager to join our team based in Melbourne. Position offers great team culture and an immediate start to the right candidate. About the role: We are looking for a savvy and driven individual, with a background in sales and account management, at our small, quickly growing company.
This newly created role will support the National Sales Manager and CEO, providing outstanding service to our industry and consumer customers. We are looking for someone who is extremely well organized, is a self-starter, is computer literate (Word, Excel) and has experience in sales, account management and customer service (ideally in the food or beauty industry). Familiarity with Salesforce would be an advantage.
The position is approximately 20 hours over 3 - 5 days. Your day-to-day tasks: Responding to customer enquiries and orders Generate sales invoices through DEAR and Xero Following leads to assist with increasing sales Assisting National Sales Manager to increase reach of Australian Native Ingredients with a particular focus on food service, food and beverage manufacturers and beauty manufacturers. Oversee shipping processes to ensure that orders are dispatched Proactively maintaining records in Salesforce Analyzing data to identify opportunities to increase sales Assisting with trade show set up and follow up Representing the company at tradeshows and events About you: You have probably worked in an sales, customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage or beauty indusry.
What we are looking for in eligible candidates… At least 5 years experience in a similar role Your own reliable means of travel and valid license Experience in customer service and/or face-to-face sales A natural passion for health, wellness and food and beverages Confident and positive personality Excellent verbal and written communication skills Approachable and friendly manner Happy to work as part of a team as well as independently Resourcefulness and capability to take initiative Knowledge of the health food industry, including trends, fads and facts Experience with Salesforce a plus, but not essential Proficient and professional email and phone manner If this sounds like the role for you, drop us a friendly email at infoaustsuperfoods.com.au [link removed].
