ABOUT US Duratec is an ASX listed project-based contractor offering a full range of remediation services with more than 15 branches across Australia servicing the Mining, Defence, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Marine industries along with Government assets and Commercial Infrastructure including Heritage buildings. THE ROLE We are currently looking for an experienced, hands on Project Manager to join our Darwin based operation in East Arm. Reporting to the Area Manager NT you will primarily be responsible for managing projects with a value of $5K to $5m including wharf repairs, refurbishment and remediation works (including abrasive blasting and coatings and concrete repair) for our clients across sites in the NT.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and controlling of the projects from construction through to completion whilst adhering to strict safety conditions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will be responsible for: Controlling and managing all aspects of the project Project managing from initial site setup to completion Ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements Ensuring effective cost control and reporting Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program ABOUT YOU Strong leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities Have a high level of understanding and appreciation for safety Strong commercial acumen The ability to form positive, rewarding stakeholder relationships Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction industry Experience managing project costs and reporting Engineering, construction management or similar tertiary qualification Be adaptable and flexible to travel around the NT Region JOIN A REWARDING CULTURE We strive to foster a working environment that supports every individual to attain their best potential with a wide range of employee benefits and ongoing opportunity to develop individual capability including: Laptop, phone and vehicle/or car allowance Employee recognition programs Learning and development opportunities Range of perks including salary packaging options and discounted health insurance HOW TO APPLY Please click on apply and complete the online application form.
