Join a growing Early Intervention Service Part time position - 1 day per week Benefit for $15,900 salary packaging, salary commensurate with experience About the role VMCH have an opportunity for a Psychologist to join the Early intervention team one day a week. This is an exceptional opportunity to supplement other work and work for a growing values based not for profit. Not to mention salary package most of this income As part of a trans-disciplinary team, you will deliver high quality, accountable early childhood intervention services to allocated families by working with families to identify their child’s needs, problem solve ways of meeting these needs, providing direct therapy and education as agreed and building each families capacity to advocate for their children and access local children’s services.
Skills & experience Tertiary qualification in Psychology with current general registration with AHPRA Knowledge of complex conditions that may impact people with disability and their carers and the ability to lead and influence others towards progressive and innovative ways of responding to individual needs. Knowledge and experience gained working in early intervention services Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships, building rapport and liaising with relevant stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to prepare briefings, case notes, reports and recommendations in a professional and considered manner.
Very well-developed problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience in provision of advice that is sensitive and confidential.
