The services that are provided to the community of Central Gippsland and beyond include general surgery, orthopaedics, Obstetric and gynaecological, dental, paediatric surgery, urology, endoscopy and ophthalmology. The departments focus is on delivering quality healthcare that is patient focussed.

About the Role The position requires an individual with hospital experience, preferably in the operating theatre to work between 3 to 4 days per week.
If you are currently completing your Theatre Technician course, then we would also be interested in hearing from you. The role is pivotal to the daily function of the operating theatre. The role consists of, but is not limited to, patient transport, equipment setup, theatre preparation, cleaning and the ability to work as part of a team.

Duties Safe patient transport Team work and following instructions Good understanding of patient safety ad positioning Preparation of theatre environment and equipment Driven to achieve and work within safety guidelines Qualifications, Skills and Experience Certificate 3 Health Service Assistant (Operating Theatre) or working towards Experience working in a multidisciplinary team Ability to do weekend on call.
