Registered Nurse - Newborn Intensive Care Unit (HDU)
Part time, full time, ongoing positions $65,275.60 - $87,282.00 per annum (pro-rata) The Hospital: The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides secondary and tertiary care to children and young people across the northern and western suburbs; specialist paediatric healthcare to the children of Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and parts of South Australia; and is the designated state-wide provider of services including paediatric trauma, rehabilitation and forensic medicine.
As a quaternary centre for complex cardiac surgery and organ transplantation, the RCH cares for the sickest children from around Australia. Further information about RCH is available at www.rch.
org.au Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) NICU at the RCH reflects excellence, providing services to critically ill babies from throughout Australia. NICU is a 36 bedded Neonatal Intensive Care and High Dependency nursery, flexing up at times of peak demand.

org.au/butterfly To be successful in the role, you will have: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP) Proven experience working within a neonatal care setting Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously as required Effective time management and organisational skills Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment Your online application needs to include the following 5 documents: Resume Cover Letter Academic transcript Application form and selection criteria responses Our selection process will also involve a medication calculation assessment, a face to face interview and reference checks.
