We are on the lookout for an Accounts Coordinator to provide accounts support at our UniLodge on Broadway property located in Sydney Based at UniLodge on Broadway in Sydney Market leading student accommodation provider Work in a diverse and unique working environment About UniLodge UniLodge is the leading provider of student accommodation in Australia and New Zealand and is currently in an exciting growth cycle as demand for our services is escalating globally. With a growing portfolio of over 80 properties, encompassing over 30,000 beds, it is a very exciting time to join the UniLodge team About your new role Our organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Coordinator to provide accounts support at our UniLodge on Broadway property located in Sydney. The key responsibility of the Accounts Coordinator is to oversee the day to day accounts function, process Body Corporate financials and provide operational and administrative support to the property.

In this role, you are an integral part of our UniLodge Broadway team and under the direction of the –General Manager you will be highly hands-on in support of the finance team. Duties and Responsibilities Daily banking reconciliation. Manage, collect and supervise the collection and disbursement of all income in relation to the portfolio.

Assist with all AP and AR functions in relation to the portfolio. Assist with the end of month reconciliation. Assist with the calculating and balancing the trust account to trial balance.

Assist with all Debtors collection. Assist other senior management with any additional tasks as requested. What you’ll need to succeed Tertiary Accounting qualifications – diploma, certificate or degree qualified Accounts/Administration experience in the accommodation, real estate or hospitality industry Demonstrated experience in maintaining trust accounts, systems and procedures.

Previous experience with Hirum Property Management System from an accounting perspective will be highly regarded High level administrative skills with a process orientation Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities accordingly. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Demonstrated skills in the Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel, with the ability to adapt to different systems quickly.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to positively contribute to a hard working team. Ability to provide evidence of a National Police Check and Working with Children’s check.
