Join a progressive tier 1 full-service law firm and work on high-profile and technically challenging transactions. 1-3 PAE (MEL) THE ROLE Advise blue-chip clients on matters such as: Contracts and policies – customised agreements, contracts, term sheets, confidentiality agreements, policies Workplace agreements – advising in relation to modern awards and enterprise agreements Workplace change – corporate restructuring, redundancies and secondments Mergers and acquisitions – employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions Employee performance – management and termination Corporations Act and Listing Rules - remuneration and termination cap issues Workplace investigations Litigation – in the Fair Work Commission, discrimination tribunals and ordinary courts Workplace health and safety ABOUT YOU 1-3 years’ PAE in employment or workplace law Great academics and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with clients, strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen Excellent analytical and drafting skills Able to work both independently and in a team environment Ambitious, determined and proactive.
