Manage and administer a portfolio of approx 700 lots at College Square in Melbourne. With a growing portfolio of 85 properties, encompassing over 30,000 beds, it’s a very exciting time to join the UniLodge team About your new role UniLodge Australia is contracted to manage two accommodation locations at College Square in Melbourne.
The key focus of this role is to ensure the buildings and common areas are properly maintained visually, efficiently and safely for the benefit of all lot owners and residents. College Square consists of approx 700 lots with a mix of residential apartments and commercial lots. The Owners Corporation Manager is responsible for coordinating the affairs of lot owners including conducting meetings, collecting and banking levies, arranging property maintenance, advising on asset management, placing insurance and keeping financial accounts.
This role has one direct report and will also provide leadership support to the operations team. This is a fixed-term full time contract until 30 June 2022. The core hours of this role are Monday to Friday, however; there will be a requirement to attend after hours meetings as required.
Duties and Responsibilities End to end management of all Owners Corporations managed by UniLodge Establish and maintain effective reporting relationship with relevant Owners Corporations. Develop and prepare and maintain budgets for individual Owners Corporations. Convene, support and chair Annual General Meetings and Special meetings as required.
Manage rostering, delegation of duties and general leadership responsibilities. Liaising with Solicitors as required with regards to sale adjustments. Owners Corporation requirements including, but not limited to: Owners Corporation.
Certificates and Owners Corporation register. Maintain Strata Management operating systems. Compliance with all owners Corporation regulations and Acts.
Understand plans of Subdivision. Looking after insurance matter and obtaining quotes. Daily management and running of all facilities.
Desirable qualifications Previous experience managing complex Owners Corporations. Previous experience in managing large facilities Current Strata Certificate or ability to acquire. Knowledge of all relevant legislation Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong financial reporting capability and sound knowledge of budgeting and accounting functions. Self-motivated and self-managed team player.
Ability to provide evidence of a National Police Check and Working With Children’s Checks. Good time management skills and an ability to prioritise....
