The Opportunity Welfare Recruitment Solutions has been approached by a fast-growing practice based in Adelaide to assist recruiting a Senior Behaviour Support Specialist who provide a range of innovative therapy services to adults, children and familys.
The Role Through growth in their service, our client is expanding their Psychological assessment services and are urgently needing a Behaviour Support Specialist /Team Leader to further assist and support adults and children in Adelaide. You will be set you up for success with a buddy, structured orientation, mobile tools & clinical supervision. As a Behaviour Support Specialist your role will involve providing highly engaging assessment services, developing goals and therapy sessions, planning and report writing that strengthen and support families by building mutual trusting relationships. You will have access to new clinic rooms and an extensive range of contemporary assessments and resources. The Candidate This opportunity would ideally suit a Registered or Clinical Psychologist who is looking to transition into a leadership/supervisory role who is passionate about assisting children to achieve their fullest potential.
Essential • Registered NDIS accredited as a Behaviour Support Practitioner • Eligible to provide unrestricted services under Medicare and NDIS. • Prior experience working with children and adults. • Prior experience in administering Behaviour Support Plans.
• Current Working with Children Check • Current drivers’ license and access to a car for work • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable • Previous supervisory, team management or leadership experience. • Board approved Psychology supervisor.
