Based in their Sydney office, you will work across a breadth of specialities along with a collection of small to medium-sized businesses that are varied in their nature. You will be on the tools and your days will be filled with a lot of the accounting practices coupled with managing the workflow and mentoring team members.
To support their ever-growing team and client base, we are seeking a qualified and highly motivated Supervisor to join this busy and progressive team in a full-time capacity. ABOUT THE ROLE The successful candidate will be responsible for: Team supervision, reviewing work and workflow management of 4-5 junior and senior accountants. Mentoring and developing the team’s skills.
Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and tax planning for a wide range of varied and complex business clients. Preparation of additional statutory reporting requirements, BAS and periodic operational reviews. Creation and implementation of business cash flow, forecasting and other various value-add reporting materials.
ABOUT YOU Key attributes and proven deliverables include: 5 years of business advisory and taxation experience. Strong working knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles. The character and maturity to balance supervising a team and client work.
A genuine interest in helping clients grow their business. A team player who fosters work relationships and enjoys mentoring others. An open and approachable communication style with a willingness to listen, learn, give advice to your team and clients.
High attention to detail with a focus on getting it right the first time. Completed CA / CPA qualifications. Proficiency in Xero.
