OMD Sydney are looking for an Account Manager to take responsibility for campaign planning management and client engagement for one of OMD Australia's newest client. We are looking for a collaborative and passionate media person to work closely with our clients and to inspire team members to deliver innovative media campaigns that drive exceptional results. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to develop your media career within a collaborative media agency Key Responsibilities: Experienced and confident with Digital (SEM, programmatic, social) and offline fluency imperative Strong project management and experience working with Programmatic and ad ops teams Capability with all industry planning tools: Roy Morgan, AQX, DV360, Facebook, IAS etc Confidence communicating to media partners and stakeholder management is key Owning campaigns and client comms (with support of Account Director) Manage and develop key senior relationships with your client and media owners Maintain regular dialogue on campaign performance and market opportunities The effective translation of the media strategy / property into detailed plans Management of the implementation of plans throughout their delivery Management of the campaign reporting process Responsible for training and development of the junior team members Required skills: Experience working with global team is desired Exceptional communication skills Attention to detail, ability to prioritise, someone who can manage up & down Strong planning experience required across all channels (online & offline), with ability to create and deliver media recommendations through backed with insights and rationale Tertiary qualified, supplemented by 4 years of strong media planning & buying experience Full working knowledge of BCC, Roy Morgan, Netratings, AdRelevance, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Implementation planning capabilities and good understanding of media fundamentals Exceptional client facing communication & presentation skills Competencies:At OMD, we live by our five core competencies: Client Engagement - whether its dealing with our clients, media partners or suppliers, we deliver best in class service and always done with integrity Product & Innovation – We think creatively, critically and strategically to deliver innovative marketing solutions for the complex world we live in Commercial – we are commercially savvy and deeply understand our business, and our clients, enabling better decisions and innovative thinking People Management/Leadership – we care about our people and have a commitment to their development and growth Personal Growth – an on-going commitment to invest 10% of your time to personal development These competencies are the key to developing and enhancing our people's skills as media professionals and humans and are embedded into our performance processes and training programs.
