Toll are working with partners Scott's RL, to support their ongoing recruitment needs in employing an experienced PM Fleet Controller in a full time permanent capacity.
The hours are 1:00pm until 9:00pm with reasonable overtime. Scott's have gone through a significant change with new Australian owners, developing better working conditions through investment in people and equipment. You will be responsible for the supervision of a fleet/drivers to ensure all safety and service objectives are achieved.
The position is allocating pre-planned and loaded trailers to drivers with some planning. We are looking for people with allocating experience, strong knowledge of Perth suburbs, good communication, problem solving, attention to detail, ability to supervise drivers and who have systems capability. You will be responsible for: Coordinating and supervising a fleet of upto 40 company and subcontractor vehicles Ensuring key service objectives and KPI's are met Utilising assets in a cost-effective manner Managing customer relations Ensuring all legislative requirements are met Promoting a safe and positive work environment that aligns with management objectives To be successful in this role you will have: A proven track record in the Transport and Distribution/Logistics industry Previous allocating experience Extensive knowledge of the Perth Metro area Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S, Chain of Responsibility legislative and regulatory requirements Excellent Communication (verbal, written, listening) skills High level of literacy and numeracy skills Strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills Ability to organise and prioritise workload A proven track record in meeting customer expectations Current 'c' class licence Police clearance less than 6 months old Working at Toll At Toll, we're proud to be a leading integrated logistics provider in the Asia Pacific region.
