Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) LeadWood
Overview / Responsibilities Wood is excited to appoint a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Lead across the Australia and Asia Pacific (APAC). This is a rare career opportunity and permanent role covering the entire region, within the People & Organisation team to be located ideally in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and surrounding areas. Reporting directly to the Vice President - People & Organisation (APAC), you will be responsible for enabling the success of Inclusion & Diversity objectives at Wood across Australia with broader APAC regional support as required .
In this highly visible role, your focus will be to take ownership and partner with Wood's leadership across all business units throughout Australia and APAC, to drive an aligned and structured approach to deliver Woods' 2021 "Innovate" Reconciliation Action Plan commitments. At Wood you will thrive in a collegiate team culture by partnering with likeminded, agile industry peers to inspire with ingenuity and create new possibilities Skills / Qualifications Ideally you will be an Inclusion & Diversity professional of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent, currently working in a similar role in Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne. Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in Human Resource Management or Project Management would also be advantageous, but not essential.
In addition, you will be: a relationship builder and proactive change agent with p roven experience successfully working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, aligned to the principles of self-determination . an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) to ensure all stakeholders are informed of the Inclusion & Diversity strategy, activities and achievements internally and externally highly organised with proven experience in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of Reconciliation Action Plans c ommercially astute and strong IT skills based within one of the major cities of Australia but as a flexible workplace Wood is open to other locations to accommodate your candidacy What will set you apart will be your proven experience delivering Reconciliation Action Plans within Oil & Gas / Mining / Construction / Infrastructure industries . You must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this role.
