As a world leader in the Operations Technology (OT) field, OSI develops and supplies state-of-the-art energy management, optimization and control software solutions to energy utility companies worldwide. We currently have openings for a Senior Customer Relations Manager.

In this position – located in our Sydney office in Macquarie Park – you will join a small, energetic, and rapidly growing team. Specific on-the-job training will be provided. The successful applicant will work closely with OSI’s global Customer Relations Group and local delivery teams in order to maintain and cultivate strong and trusting relationships with customers within the Australia and New Zealand region.

In this role you will work primarily with existing customers to ensure solutions are devised, structured, proposed and contracted to meet customer needs, and to increase penetration of OSI products and services. Your engineering background will be of assistance in ensuring you have a deep understanding of energy utility customer needs, and are well equipped to facilitate effective solutions. Specific on-the-job training will be provided.

As a Senior Customer Relations Manager, your responsibilities will include: Manage key customer relationships in the Australian and New Zealand region. Proactively identify sales opportunities within the family of existing customers. Help escalate and resolve customer concerns.

Visit customers regularly to discuss product roadmaps, future projects and current product use. Assist in-flight projects maintain alignment to customer need and expectations. Provide proactive customer contact to ensure we are meeting and exceeding customer expectations in all areas of post-delivery support.

Apply your capability to support Business Development and new customer sales as required. Requirements Minimum Australian Citizen or Permanent resident with full working rights, preferably based in Sydney. Bachelor's degree either in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related field.

5 years of related experience in the utility industry with SCADA or related technologies. Strong ability to maintain and cultivate trusting relationships with customers. Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex products, and to explain simply to a variety of audiences.

Excellent organization, interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites. Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts verbally and in writing. People oriented with a genuine interested in technology and improvement, with excellent teamwork and communication skills, a flexible attitude and perseverance. Benefits OSI offers a comprehensive.
