ABOUT THE ROLE The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a true hunter and is passionate about the development and cultivation of an ongoing pipeline for potential new business opportunities, identifying and influencing opportunities, closing out opportunities and transitioning new customers into the business RESPONSIBILITIES Delivery of the new business targets and objectives Budget Revenue and gross margin Project manage the onboarding of new customers Handover Customers to the dedicated Account Manager Contractual arrangements for customers and suppliers Qualify qualified and substantiated sales prospects Overall understanding of Sales, Finance, Billing, Business Analysis SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Extensive knowledge of the Freight Industry Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to communicate at all levels Strong experience in cultivating a sale’s pipeline Tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport and Logistics or marketing is highly desirable BENEFITS Dynamic workplace offering plenty of opportunities Be an integral part of a fast growing business.
