About the Role We are currently offering a traineeship open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to join our Administration team in Leederville, Perth.
The position is full time for 12 months and you will complete the course work whilst being paid on the job. As our Trainee Administration Officer, you will receive on-the-job training whilst studying towards your Certificate III or Cert IV in Business Administration. The role reports to the Office Manager and will provide support to all the administration functions.
Working closely with your workplace coach, your main responsibilities will be the following: Reporting to the Office Manager Provide support to administration team and front line managers Invoicing and petty cash Covering reception including; meet and greet, directing phone calls and managing meeting rooms Assist with reporting and tracking fleet vehicles Undertake data entry, typing, filing, photocopying, scanning as required Assisting with projects Skills and Experience: Interested in a career in Administration Willing to complete a 12 month traineeship and Certificate III/Cert IV in Business Administration Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite High attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritise workload Confident and professional presentation and phone manner Current valid driver’s licence (preferred) Identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent We are committed to Reconciliation and improving outcomes and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
