Duratec Australia is a multi-disciplined builder and maintenance contractor with 15 branches across Australia servicing the Mining, Oil and Gas, Marine industries along with Government and Defence assets and Commercial Infrastructure including heritage buildings. ABOUT THE ROLE Due to an expanding growing portfolio of awarded contracts, we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our Wangara based HSE team. The role will primarily be responsible for providing HSE support to the National HSE Manager and in the administration of INX InControl, for the compilation of HSE data and reports on behalf of the HSE team.
The role would best suit an individual who is passionate about safety and looking to make their impact in a growing organisation, this is an opportunity to develop a new role with the potential of progression to HSE Advisor. Your duties will include: Administration of the InControl INX Software system Provide support and administration assistance to the National HSE team Prepare HSE performance reports and presentations for management information. Support the HSE tender process Review and progress the completion of non-conformance reports and actions.
Support HSE compliance requirements and act as the focal point for system or HSE process issues. Compile monthly reports to executive management Conduct INX system and HSE inductions to HSE processes. Participate in internal HSE audits, inspections, and observations Assist with the review and development of SWMS and JSA’s ABOUT YOU 1-2 years’ experience in a previous HSE Administration or HSE Officer role Recognised Tertiary qualifications in Health Safety and Environment – An Advantage Previous experience with a HSE reporting system – INX Preferred but not a must Well organised with a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to effectively liaise with various internal areas Knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and practices Hold a valid driver’s licence.
