Experienced Category Manager required by large, multi faceted organisation. Your new company This large, well known organisation in Perth to source a Category/ Procurement Specialist to join their busy, high performing Category Management team. Your new role Depending on your area of expertise you could be managing spend across a variety of Professional Services categories from IT, Legal, HR etc.
You will also assist in improving governance and audit compliance within the Category Management function. You will be targeted on reduced active contracts through consolidation and review of requirements against risk or productivity. It is essential you have the ability to quickly build your network and relationships with key stakeholders while maintaining solid and effective relationships with suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed Applicants should be tertiary qualified in either a business, finance, legal or related discipline and an understanding of business operations within a client environment is essential. An in depth working knowledge of cradle to grave category management practice and the stages within is essential. What you'll get in return This role is initially being offered on a 6 month basis, with the opportunity to move to a permanent position.
