Support a social Government agency to promote the well-being to those disadvantaged within our community. Your new company This government agency is working at the forefront of delivering a high-level policy and advice to positively impact individual’s well-being and ultimately contribute to one achieving their goals. The team is responsible for providing specialist and clinical advice and guidance in relation to complex cases and promoting a high level of service to those in need.
Your new role You will provide expertise within a socially focused environment, employing your high level written and communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work within a sensitive environment and providing subject matter expertise to support participant outcomes. Experience or background in a clinical, nursing or social setting coupled with policy/legislative knowledge is highly desirable. In this role you will be required to demonstrate your ability to provide guidance and support, work collaboratively across teams and your autonomous judgement to make decisions.
What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will be a high-performing individual, ideally with experience and understanding of social policy/legislation and operations. As well as this, you will portray; Experience in working with complex cases and involvement in sensitive discussions. Flexibility and working within a changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal skills of a high order and ability to lead a small but busy team. Manage effective working relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders.
