Experienced Tractor operator - Seeding season 2021
Our client is wishing to add a team member to their team to assist with the 2021 sowing season; your attitude, willingness to learn and passion for agriculture will make you a standout for this exciting position. Our client runs a family owned 1,100 ha broadacre cropping and sheep enterprise in the Western District of Victoria, close to the reginal town of Derrinallum which is 12 km and Camperdown is 27 kilometres away. You will be assisting with the seeding, sowing wheat, canola, and barley operating a modern 400 Steiger with trimble GPS and autosteer pulling a Horwood Airseeder with 7000 litre cart.
Our client prides themselves on being innovative, forward thinking and providing a flexible work arrangement. They are seeking a highly motivated, conscientious, and meticulous machinery operator to join them for the upcoming seeding season. You ideally with have some experience in operating machinery however this does not need to be of a large scale, our client is willing to provide the training and support to enable you to operate their equipment confidently and safely.
To be considered for this role ideally you will be/have the following – Great attitude with a willingness to learn. Experience operating large broadacre machinery will be held in high regard. Neat, tidy and take pride in your work.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills and good spoken English. Punctual, thorough, and attentive. Previous machinery operating experience and Trimble GPS experience ideal.
