Contract Vacancy for Approximately 12 Months Ultimo, Sydney: Convenient CBD location (near Central Station) Join our Flagship 7:30 Team About the Role This is an exciting new role working collaboratively with the leadership team to deliver innovative and original content that will appeal to a broad Australian audience. The role will be hands on at times and will involve; Collaboratively providing leadership and guidance to a staff to achieve high standards of current affairs programming.

Fostering a collaborative work environment and building a capable and motivated team. Overseeing and coordinating 7.30s coverage of Indigenous Affairs Liaising with and coordinating 7.

30s guest reports from the ABC Regional division About You You will be experienced in broadcast journalism with a passion for current affairs. You will also have experience producing long form TV current affairs and producing pieces of investigative journalism. The successful candidate will also have; Substantial editorial and creative leadership skills with a calm head under pressure.

Interest and passion in finding and telling stories that reflect Australias diversity and a proven ability to source and maintain contacts across the broader Australian community. Exceptional knowledge of news production in a multi-platform environment.
