The opportunity We are currently looking for a Placements/Work-integrated Learning(WIL) Coordinator to be responsible for providing support to the Service Learning Manager in providing effective coordination of WIL and Placements opportunities and experiences for students, usually across the relevant group, supporting a diverse and complex range of WIL, internship and/or placement programs. This role is a key contact for students requiring advice in relation to student placements, and will play an integral role in identifying, developing and maintaining effective links with a diverse range of industry and university partners and other external bodies.
These are fixed term (until 31 January 2022), one full time one part time (60%) positions based at the Logan campus. Griffith is a multi-campus university and therefore it is understood that this position will work across campuses as required. About you To be successful within this role, you will be able to work well in a team environment, have a good understanding of service learning and the not-for-profit sectors.
You have evidence of a passion for helping students prepare for transformational internship opportunities, with a strong desire to build a career within partnerships and engagement. In addition you will be skilful in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders, and internal university staff and departments. Salary range Salary (HEW Level 6) $ 79,633 - $84,941 (pro rata) per annum.
Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $93,171 - $99,381 (pro rata) per annum.
