Client IT Officer Melbourne Pathology Collingwood VIC Full-time Position: Client IT Officer Position type: Full time Location: Collingwood Closing date: Friday 26 March 2021 Melbourne Pathology is one of Victorias largest diagnostic pathology laboratories, committed to providing high quality health care throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. We are currently seeking a full-time Client IT Officer, who is both innovative and strategic. This position is full-time (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, with some out-of-hours work and travel required.
Duties include: Liaising with the Business Development team to promote and maintain the E-Ordering system Promote, maintain and manage client related IT services currently provided to Melbourne Pathology clients Installation and ongoing technical support of Fetch, Sonic Dx and any other electronic reporting platforms Answering large volumes of incoming calls, as well as making outgoing calls to clients, which may include doctors, clinics, hospitals and their affiliated IT support Face-to-face customer liaison. The Client IT Officer role is predominantly customer-service based, so exceptional communication skills are essential. You must be a strong team player who recognises the need to work effectively with others to achieve corporate outcomes.
For this position you must have a background in pathology, medical reception, medical science or a related field. Ideally you will have experience with medical software, including laboratory systems, but this is not essential. A Victorian Drivers licence is required.
