paxus.com.au Technical Writer Contribute to the delivery of a new enterprise clinical application Initial 6 month contract possible extension Darwin City Location Support the development of a new online help site in support of the implementation of a new enterprise application platform Brisbane Please be aware this is a Darwin based role, interested candidates will need to relocate to Darwin for the duration of this contract Our government client is seeking a Technical Writer to join their Project Officer on a 6 month contract.
As the Technical Writer, you will support the development of an online help-site through the establishment of templates and documentation. You will define the standards and guidelines for the new help site for ongoing management once the site is live. Key Duties and Responsibilities Write and create all required support/help products to support a new budget-related business application (Sage).
These products will support trainers when delivering to operational and non-operational stakeholders and become a source of reference after training. Contribute to and support the development and implementation of training, and the monitoring and evaluation of outcomes of training programs in relation to the integration, implementation and utilisation of Sage and other agency specific business systems. Share knowledge and skills within the Sage Rollout Teams on the development, editing and ongoing management of the help resource/s.
Skills/Experience Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing online support/help systems, and experienced in compiling, organising and writing online help applications to support end-users. Experience in using a variety of eLearning software and tools. Demonstrated experience in design principles for user interactions, responsive design principles; with demonstrated ability to create, maintain and update training support materials and develop systems to track versions.
Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple concurrent tasks, dealing within competing pressures, multiple stakeholders, unplanned change and meeting tight timeframes. Demonstrated ability of effective application of document configuration, standards and guidelines to edit, standardise, and maintain version control of material.
