A highly regarded Industry Body in Camberwell is seeking a motivated team player to take on the dual responsibility of membership services and providing secretarial support to the committees. Reporting in the Chief Operations Officer & EA/Events Lead, key responsibilities in this diverse position will include: Handling incoming calls and meeting and greeting visitors Maintenance of the membership database Processing membership applications and renewals Providing administrative support to the committees Scheduling committee meetings, organising logistics, travel and accommodation Setting up events online, posting to social media and managing registrations Stakeholder liaison with members and event sponsors Assisting with website maintenance and social media communications Ordering stationery, catering and other office consumables Other administrative tasks as required This role will suit a candidate who is keen to show their initiative, take ownership of tasks and really shape and make this role their own In addition to prior administration experience in an office environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels Articulate written and verbal communication skills Strong IT literacy with confident Microsoft and database management skills Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask Uncompromising attention to detail A flexible can-do attitude with a track record of demonstrating initiative A desire to learn and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion On offer is a rare opportunity to further develop your administrative skills with a supportive team of professionals in a stable and reputable organisation.
