Our client is interested in hiring an energetic and results driven Business Development Manager based in Sydney to focus on New Business acquisition across their comprehensive line of lift trucks. If you have experience within the Capital Equipment space this role is for you Client Details Our client is a mid-size global business specialising in Lift-truck manufacturing solutions with a wide range of machines across the equipment space from container handlers to pallet jacks. Our client manufactures and export products to service their diverse range of customers across Australia, they pride themselves in offering exceptional service to all their clients with over 150 years of expertise.
They are interested in meeting candidates with proven expertise in B2B selling with a focus on new business growth and Capital Equipment experience. Your pro-active nature will help you thrive within this well-established Global business that focuses on being industry leading through product development and building long lasting relationships. Description Drive for new business Leads the production and execution of industry strategies to achieve profitable penetration into assigned verticals and segments.
Incumbent may be responsible for any one of four vertical aggregations (Food and Beverage, Logistics/Warehouse, Industrials, Consumer Trades, and Durables). Owner of Industry Profit and Loss summary and expected to lead change initiatives to improve profitability for assigned segments. Lead investigation of Root Cause for current market share and corrective action planning and implementation to improve business outcomes.
Provide sales support for distribution partners on potential customer leads generation, cold call, trial and sales follow up process Expected to achieve results through others. Will lead a small staff, but primary interactions will be with key leaders across from across the company. Profile 3 years of holding a similar level role with strong history of sales success.
A core competency in customer insight and solution selling. Experience Development and implementation of marketing, sales and category strategies to effectively execute the launch of new products Demonstrated strong negotiation skills and high conversion success rates are essential. A good understanding of selling capital equipment.
Strong negotiation skills with high levels of motivation. Competence with CRM and IT including the Microsoft office suite. Strong project management, communication, and team collaboration skills.
