Production Manager

We are proud to be Australia's only manufacturer of UHF CB radios with our state-of-the-art purposed built facility in Sydney, Australia.

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our Production division as we embark on an exciting growth phase. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for: Coordinating and supervising all production operations with the support of department team leaders. Responsible for management and allocation of all production Resources.

Working in conjunction with Planning department to guarantee that the production schedule is effective and can be achieved at all time. Communicating with the Operation Manager informing on all significant actions and/or problems and assists with the resolution of all production problems to ensure a continuous flow of quality product. Driving continuous improvement through upskilling, process improvement and use of technology Ensuring the lines performance is always optimised by investing in the continuous improvement of the teams skills through a mix of formal and on the job training.

Ensuring coaching and development and performance management of employees to meet business objectives. Working with the team to deliver on the company’s Core Business Values. Holding regular meetings with direct reports to discuss individual progress in achieving job goals and personal development plans.

Complying with all Quality, Work Health & Safety, and Environment legislation and regulatory requirements. Adhering to the compliance obligations relevant to the position. Performing duties in an ethical, lawful and safe manner.

Undertaking training in accordance with the compliance program To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria: A proven track record in leading people in a manufacturing or production Experience in an electronics or technology environment would be Demonstrated initiative to drive and lead change to improve efficiencies and implement a continuous improvement culture. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills. The ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications and a working knowledge of ERP Strong leadership skills, independent thinking and planning abilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated passion in people development, team building & driving engagement Stron.
