Leadership & governance role within leading private hospital Execute initiatives, provide insights and deliver innovation Attractive benefits including salary packaging The Role In this permanent full-time role, based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for leading a team of 2 to coordinate and facilitate an effective quality program for Epworth Freemasons. The program oversees quality improvement, clinical risk management, incident management and clinical audit initiatives to ensure sound clinical governance and positive patient outcomes. You will be part of the Epworth Freemasons leadership team and report to the Director of Clinical & Maternity Services.
You will make an impact by: Providing leadership and support to staff and doctors at Epworth Freemasons to facilitate quality improvement activities and locally implement group-wide initiatives Partnering and collaborating with Clinical Services, the Executive Team, Medical Directors and department managers to ensure the provision of safe, high quality care patient care and outcomes at Epworth Freemasons Providing analytics and insights in quality improvements, clinical risk & incident management and clinical audit, as well as developing and implementing strategies to reduce clinical risks Supporting the coordination of the accreditation cycle for Epworth Freemasons To be successful in this role… You are a proven clinical leader with a passion for quality improvement and experience in delivering quality and clinical auditing projects that support improved patient outcomes. Quick to see where efficiencies can be made, you have strong analytical skills together with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and bring them on the change journey. You will have: Current AHPRA nursing or allied health registration Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in clinical risk management and/or a quality program within an acute hospital setting Strong understanding of accreditation requirements and the ACSQHC NSQHS standards Knowledge about current and emerging patient safety issues nationally At Epworth, everybody matters.
