The Older Persons Community Mental Health Team The Older Persons Community Mental Health Team provide community based mental health assessment, treatment and support to patients who are aged over 65 years suffering from mental illness or are aged over 65 and suffer from a mental illness complicated by a neurodegenerative disorder and/or issues of ageing and/or severe comorbid physical illness. About the position The Bendigo Older Persons Community Mental Health team is seeking a suitably skilled Lead Clinician to join their dynamic and multi-disciplinary team.
The position can be filled by a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker. Under the direction of the OPCMHT Manager and team Psychiatrist(s), the successful applicant will provide psychiatric triage, intake, assessment and treatment, psycho-education and support for patients of Psychiatric Services and their families /carer(s).
