Assistant Product Manager

This company is looking for a passionate, dynamic and driven junior marketer to join the product development team in a fast-paced and dynamic Assistant Product Manager role. The role offers skill development and involvement in the new product development and life cycle management process, as well as administration tasks associated with product marketing. The role also offers involvement in research, packaging design and data analysis, as well as the opportunity to learn and develop alongside experienced colleagues.
The product team supports the APAC region and is made up of 6 with a supportive, fast-paced culture, working regularly with the EMEA and global teams. The role requires a team player with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn, who delights in being challenged. To be considered for this exciting role, you will possess the following: Previous experience in a product development or project management role Strong verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in product marketing within consumer durables A demonstrated ability to be a commercially astute hands-on problem solver Degree qualification with a marketing major or equivalent experience The ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail, project management, time management and organisational skills The ability to think outside the square and solve problems quickly without further escalation Additional language skills (verbal and written) would be advantageous with regard to the EMEA team interactions Previous experience in writing marketing category plans, new product development, pricing and analysis, packaging and product lifecycle plans will be highly regarded Experience in day-to-day portfolio management including product and packaging updates is advantageous but not essential Experience using business systems such as PRONTO, SAP, Microsoft Office suite.
