A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced SMSF/Business Services Accountant to join their close-knit accounting team. This will be a split role, taking responsibility for the accounting, tax and administration of a small portfolio of SMSF's, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts. Responsibilities: Preparation of year end accounts, financial statements and income tax returns for SMSF’s Liaise with the fund auditor to facilitate the annual SMSF audit as required Preparation of financial statements and complete tax returns for SME Companies, Partnerships and Trusts Liaise with clients to identify unknown transactions Maintain data feeds within the Class Software Review and report Member pension payments Prepare as required PAYG Payment Summaries, Activity Statements, Pension Commencement and Commutation documents and TBAR declarations Liaise with the tax office as required Skills, experience and qualifications: 8 years’ experience in a similar role Preferably CA/CPA qualified although not essential Strong technical knowledge and a proven track record of success dealing with compliance and tax issues related to SMSF’s Experience using Class Super and MYOB AE will be highly regarded Excellent communication and organisational skills This is a fantastic role offering stability and security where great work is recognised and rewarded.
