An award winning, multi-discipline practice, located on the city fringe, is actively looking to hire a full-time Paraplanner to join their team. The firm has been providing advice to successful businesses, family groups and high net wealth individuals for over 25 years.

The award-winning Financial Planning division is going through an exciting stage of growth and now requires a talented Paraplanner to join their vibrant and professional team. Reporting to the Senior Paraplanner and Financial Planning Director, you will help clients facilitate their wealth creation objectives by using your technical knowledge to generate compliant and timely advice documentation.
Responsibilities: Provide full support to the Financial Planning Director Prepare and create planning strategies that meets the client's needs and expectations Deliver quality advice documentation (SOA’s and ROA’s), including conducting research and modelling of strategies, that meets the agreed requirements within the nominated time frame Prepare information for client reviews including updating of client data in XPLAN and preparation of on-track analysis for client strategies. Contribute to the improvement, efficiency and consistency of the advice process Build and maintain strong client relationships across the business Keep up to date with changes in legislation and maintain a working knowledge of financial planning issues and trends Skills and qualifications: A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a paraplanning role dealing with a variety of planning strategies Bachelor of Finance, or completion of ADFP or DFP is highly desirable, but not essential Strong client service ethic and ability to plan ahead Analytical thinker and strong attention to detail Possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills, Experience with X-Plan or similar CRM and portfolio management software The ability to work to deadlines Ideally, candidates will possess a strong working knowledge of superannuation, investments, Centrelink, risk insurance and financial products to support decisions in the financial planning process.
