With our client base always growing we are looking for an exceptional board secretariat to come and join our fun and friendly team. The role The Board Secretariat role provides Secretariat functions for Capital EA clients on a casual/part-time basis.

As part of this function, the Board Secretariat is responsible for the provision of high quality coordination of papers and recording of minutes specifically related to risk management, interpretation, compliance and corporate and commercial governance matters. The Board Secretariat is required to make the best use of internal and external resources to produce pro-active and practical governance documents and take appropriate actions in support of the functions of our Clients. Skills and experience The successful candidate will have knowledge, skills and experience in the areas identified Highly desirable candidates will have an understanding of corporate and commercial governance matters or a degree with significant governance experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

Demonstrated experience in interpreting, applying and explaining policies, guidelines, procedures and complex rules. Demonstrated experience in supporting policy development. Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and to identify and rectify errors.

Demonstrated high level presentation and written communication skills, including the ability to write management reports, briefing papers and responses to correspondence. Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including those at the most senior levels. Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Demonstrated high level critical thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills plus the ability to distil complex information and produce quality reports and presentations. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive, and a willingness to approach new challenges and adjust plans to meet new priorities and directions. Ability to work autonomously and/or in a team environment and to fo.
