Purpose of role As a level 2 technical support team member this role will see you being responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues either remotely or on-site within the Melbourne metro area. This is very much a hands-on, consultative role involving varied tasks where your broad technical experience will enable you to support desktop and servers issues, dealing with tickets raised through ConnectWise whilst keeping clients updated and informed.
Responsibilities will include – Effectively diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware & cloud issues Professionally engage with customers by phone, face-to-face or remotely Provide systems administration support as required Actively maintain service level agreements Ensure timely control of the ticketing system Proactively seek to improve processes/procedures to enable continuous improvements Technical skills needed - 3 years' experience in 2nd Level support Experience gained within a managed service environment supporting multiple customers ( mandatory ) Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting ability Windows Server support experience Networking - Router, Firewall Switch and Wireless Controller installation and configuration Level 2 specific networking skills: NAT, VLAN, routing, trunking, port activation and network discovery Office 365 – Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams PowerShell highly advantageous We are not looking for androids; we want a personality to compliment your technical prowess.
