We are currently recruiting for a confident, driven & experienced Business Development Manager with experience within the transport industry. About the role: As a Business Development Manager your objective is to hunt and secure new business whilst promoting long-term, sustainable relationships. This is an autonomous role, with flexible working arrangements.
Your key responsibilities in this role are to: Prospect and win new accounts Generate leads through your own networks e.g. Linked In, referrals, our CRM and cold calling.
Client visits, meetings and presentations Work closely with operations to build sustainable solutions for your customers Who are we looking for: A hunter who enjoys the challenge of face to face business to business selling Strategic salesperson with a desire accounts Experience in a new business sales environment - Transport experience required A proven history of meeting or exceeding budgets, targets and KPIs Able to present to mid/high level decision makers Able to complete proposals and tenders Excellent communication and analytical skills Ability to build rapport quickly with potential clients Strong business and commercial acumen About Kings: Kings is an Australian private family owned and operated company established in 1991 offering integrated supply chain solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
