Pricing Analyst - Residential & SME Electricity & GasFirst Recruitment International

Responsibilities: analyse market conditions and collaborate cross-functionally to develop, drive, and implement optimal pricing of products and services; ensure achievement of financial targets and goals for the Residential and SME business; liaise and work closely with Sales, Marketing and Commercial and Industrial Operations to enable business intelligence availability is critical to success in order to balance market share growth; provide advice to others in the Marketing team and other areas that require information from these database/applications; contribute to ongoing improvement, efficiency, and accuracy of pricing related processes, tools and outputs; keep abreast of industry changes and practices, such as changes in regulated charges, price/cost structure, seasonality, meter type, zones, etc that affect pricing or profitability of mass-market customers; create visibility to the impact of various pricing strategies and build an understanding of the sensitivity our customers have to various price changes through the customer lifecycle; evaluate existing pricing behaviour and practices through both quantitative and qualitative measures, including the development of pricing metrics and business intelligence; benchmark the marketplace pricing behaviour of key competitors in order to develop a market level understanding of price points; ensure quality data, timely analysis, and relevant market insights for the business; analyse and present to senior leadership key pricing dynamics, trends, opportunities, and risks on a monthly basis; Qualifications/Requirements for this role include: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Finance, or Engineering; Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in a dedicated Pricing function within an energy retailer or telecommunications utility; Prior experience with applying advanced statistical methodologies (e.
