About the Role An Incident Response Senior Consultant you will play an essential role in advising Telstra with the management of key Safety, Security and Wellbeing (SSW) incidents. You thrive on leveraging your expert technical knowledge and experience in incident risk management to inform decision making and contribute to the development and implementation of key Incident Response (IR) policies, frameworks and programs that enable the business to achieve its objectives whilst protecting its people, assets, brand value and the community. Through your excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills you will take a role in driving cultural change by developing IR programs.

This role may require some on-site visits in response to incidents you will manage, however due to our global presence generally you will manage this from your working location. Some key responsibilities include: Respond to all SSW incidents and provide remediation and risk mitigation advice to Telstra Group Develop, manage, refine, and maintain effective SSW emergency response initiatives and strategies across all areas of Telstra. Participate in and drive incident response activities Support and direct the management of SSW incident risks within the enterprise through the effective delivery of advice to our SSW IR consultants, our clients and stakeholders.

Assess associated risks and specify recovery routines and contingency procedures to support incident response activities. Actively manage stakeholder relationships to communicate business needs, de-conflict requirements, communicate risk and provide recommended courses of action. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: First hand technical experience in incident response, analysis and investigation, including application of appropriate operations principles, methodologies and practices.

Relevant tertiary qualifications OR experience in incident and/or crisis management or health and safety related roles Demonstrated experience in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to produce a robust and evidence-based recommendations. Experience managing numerous stakeholders, complex customer expectations, SLAs and comms in a timely and professional manner to Senior and Executive Levels Sounds like you?
