HaysTemp to Perm position $28-30ph Trade Assistant/Powdercoater Your new company Your new company is a leading manufacturer of commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness equipment. They have become an industry leader supplying to schools and councils nationwide. Growing in size, they have in house design and manufacturing teams and are seeking an experienced Trade Assistant / Process Worker to join their team.
Your new role Working alongside the production team, you will be required to complete varied duties, relating to manufacturing and assembling rope for playgrounds. You will be cleaning aluminium ferrules and using a metal saw to cut rope. There will be manual handling of equipment and general factory duties.
There will also be training opportunities to progress your skillset and be trained in Powdercoating. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in assembly Experience using hand tools, particular metal saws Attention to detail with written instruction and drawings Comfortable in a factory environment Quick learner, energetic, self-starter Looking to learn how to powdercoat What you'll get in return You will have the opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer which will lead to a permanent role for the right candidate, ample opportunities for growth / upskilling and work in a supportive team environment with good work culture.
