Work in an area developing and deliver policies & programs to advise the Government on keeping Australia safe Your new company This leading Federal department performs an important function and is responsible for providing vital services across Australia. Increase workload has created a vacancy for experienced an APS6 Financial Analyst. Your new role As the APS6 Financial Analyst you will work as part of a team responsible for providing your expert knowledge and skills to perform tasks that are inclusive of, but not limited to the following: Developing and maintaining financial models, Cost recovery analysis, Maintaining specialised software and provide support and training, Developing financial policies and governance documents, and Providing advice to Senior Managers and Executives What you'll need to succeed You will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and specialised technical skills in developing and maintaining financial models in excel.
A relevant degree and having or working towards CA or CPA qualifications would be desirable and strong writing skills. Previous activity based costing(ABC) experience would be highly regarded.
