Your new role As an integral part of the Development team, you will be responsible for all aspects of development and building approvals, planning and assessment from feasibility to final delivery. In this role you will: Co-ordinate, lead and advise on the preparation of planning and environmental permit/approval applications. Perform due diligence for proposed developments including site investigations through to obtaining occupations certificates.
Liaise with Councils, State Agencies, clients and engaged consultants throughout the respective application process Undertake consultation on elements including environmental impact, sustainability and urban development during preparation of submissions Manage landowner notifications, land access, planning assessments, statutory approvals and exemptions, stakeholder engagement and resolutions. Ensure construction plans and specifications comply with the Development Consent and the Building Codes of Australia What you'll need to succeed A Degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science or related discipline A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role A thorough knowledge of the planning and approvals process, relevant legislation, policies and procedures Experience dealing with regulatory authorities, Government offices, the community and other stakeholders The ability to develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external clients Be able to work effectively in a very busy and fast paced environment while be adaptable to changing priorities Be highly organised and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team A current driver's licence What you'll get in return The chance to be a part of a long established, highly successful family business An attractive salary package Opportunities for career and personal development Being able to work on iconic, community impacting developments What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, DO NOT HESITATE - click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Staci Baird now on 0414 896 784.
