a Hours Per Week : 38 Requisition ID : REQ209476 Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide Specialty Health Network delivering health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings. The Organisational Development Unit builds the capacity of the workforce so staff have the skills, knowledge and motivation to achieve their best, positively contribute to their teams, and engage in the success of the Network. They lead the transformation of people’s experience through innovation, education and research.
This position provides comprehensive and integrated evidence based nurse education services for educational programs supporting infection prevention and communicable disease management to ensure safe clinical practice for Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) nurses as well as improved health literacy for custodial patients care. The Network is committed to fostering a workplace culture that supports a strengths based approach, critical enquiry, reflective practice and positive learning experiences. This position funded over 2 years will work with stakeholders to develop and implement a sustainable multimodal infection prevention and communicable disease program for the Network.

Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and current NSW Drivers licence. Holds a relevant clinical or educational post registration qualification and /or substantial clinical and educational experience within the specialty of population health or infection prevention.
