Join a team committed to putting Safety first Career development opportunities and room to grow Permanent full time opportunities, centrally located in Narrandera and Hay, NSW About the team The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure. The opportunity Right now, we have multiple permanent, ongoing opportunities for Plant Operators to join us in our Regional Maintenance crews based in either Narrandera or Hay NSW. You will be working under limited supervision operating a variety of major plant items at any one time.
When plant is not required, you’ll chip in to support a range of labouring tasks with the team when needed. Please click here to view a copy of the role description About you We’re seeking a team player and experienced plant operator who is experienced in rollers, loaders, and other heavy plant equipment.
You’ll be confident, adaptable to changing to a variety of works and highly capable operating major plant. You’ll have proven experience rectifying simple hazards without direction and reporting them accordingly. You will also: Be an excellent communicator Demonstrate responsibility for personal safety and safety of others in the workplace, and Possess a valid Driver Licence and White Card You may also be required to work outside normal working hours.
You must be able to attend after hour call-outs as well as be prepared to travel throughout the state and work at locations away from the base station. Whilst not essential, holding a truck license would be highly desirable. Wage and Benefits The wage for this position is Plant Operator Grades 2-3 ($1254.
