Due to significant growth, they have created a new opportunity for a Director of Business Development to lead their BD activities within Australia. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Director of Business Development APAC, your responsibilities will be varied. You will be part of a global team of peers and will be well supported by both local and international colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Managing existing client relationships, across Australia and Asia Generating and driving new business Engaging with C-suite and key stakeholders Achieving sales revenue goals Co-ordinating and managing the development and delivery of proposals Contract strategy development and decision making, including tracking the ROI on all contracts and contract optimisation SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To secure this opportunity, it essential you demonstrate the following skills and experience: In-depth understanding of the Australian Clinical Trials market landscape Demonstrated experience selling to C-Suite level, to clinical operations, procurement and data management Superior level of communication skills, including PowerPoint and Excel capabilities that can be communicated to senior client contacts as well as senior leadership team internally Demonstrate a high level of financial acumen, including financial analysis and ensuring profitable access It is essential you demonstrate a high level of negotiation skills Ability to work autonomously but also to be part of a collaborative, global team Ability to develop advanced business planning to identify and target prospective accounts including, market analysis, customer insights and also how to execute the strategy and plan Current experience within an organisation selling SaaS to CROs or as a BDM within a CRO is ideal CULTURE & BENEFITS This is a medium size international company experiencing exciting growth.
